FAQs

Why is emotional empowerment especially important for women?

Emotional empowerment is vital for women because, historically, many women have faced societal pressures to suppress their emotions or conform to gender expectations. By becoming emotionally empowered, women can break free from these limitations, build their self-esteem, and take control of their personal and professional lives. It allows them to advocate for their needs, make decisions aligned with their values, and create healthier relationships.

How can emotional empowerment help women support each other?

Emotionally empowered women are better equipped to foster supportive and nurturing relationships with other women. When women feel secure in their own emotions, they are less likely to feel competitive or threatened by others. Instead, they can offer empathy, mentorship, and encouragement. This mutual empowerment strengthens communities of women, enabling them to uplift one another.

What are some ways women can practice emotional empowerment in the face of societal challenges?

  • Asserting their boundaries in both personal and professional settings.

  • Recognizing and challenging societal stereotypes that discourage emotional expression.

  • Engaging in self-care and prioritizing their emotional health.

  • Surrounding themselves with supportive, like-minded individuals who respect and uplift them.

  • Speaking out against injustice and advocating for their rights, while also finding ways to manage emotions like anger or frustration in healthy, productive ways.

MEET PRECIOUS

Hello and welcome to Empowered to Live Well

This is a powerful experience to support others in their quests to live healthier and more fulfilled lives. I have traveled a road, myself, to recognize my own empowerment and can attest that the journey is worth it! No one can stop me, but me. Likewise, no one can stop you, but you.

I started out with a BA in Communication and then earned an MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching). Both fields came with their own levels of accomplishment and fulfillment, however; I was not finished with my journey. As a student of life, I do not feel that I will ever be finished because my learning will never end. My educational and professional backgrounds have enhanced my skills, increased my confidence, and propelled me into coaching, advocacy, and empowerment.

On a personal level, I am a wife and mother of three children. The passion I have for my family in recognizing their potential and nurturing their aspirations, spills out into my interactions with others. I realize that others are just as valuable as my family, whether I know them or not.

It is my personal belief that as members of humanity, we have many more similarities than we have differences. As we live our lives well, we inspire others to do the same, regardless of differing opportunities or backgrounds. I have chosen to make this experience very intentional and hope you will join me by acting on the recognition that we are EMPOWERED to LIVE WELL!
